Legends of Runeterra Best Decks – Lor Best Deck Builds

Legends of Runeterra Best Decks Since Legends of Runeterra is a brand new game, keep in mind that the meta are very formatible and can change because players discover and optimize decks.

The following meta stacks are the decks we designed to be strong during LoR ranked opening. Since the metas are new, we’ll also offer you cards that you can change extra, and you can blend them yourself.

How to import Runeterra deck codes

Runeterra best decks - how to import runeterra deck codes

You may find in various articles around the internet, including this one, that there are Runeterra deck codes. In order to use them you’ll need to perform the following steps:

  • Highlight the deck code and copy it to your clipboard (Ctrl + C on PC). They look like something like this – CEBAGAICEUVTCBQBAUARGKBJGE3AEAIBAI4QKAIFB4MR2IJNAEAQCBID
  • Launch Legends of Runeterra and click Collection.
  • Click Decks, then click “Import Deck” at the top of the screen. We’ve circled it in our image above.
  • Paste the deck code (Ctrl + V on PC) and click “Import Deck”.

As for how to export deck codes into Legends of Runeterra, once you’ve finished creating them, simply click the Deck you wish to share, then click the “Share” button. This will generate the code to share your deck.

Here are twelve decks (6 meta decks and 6 budget decks) that we recommend trying the best shot on the competitive ladder during LoR’s Open Beta launch.

Keep in mind that they’re not in a special order yet, because even the best decks will have counters and which decks really depend on the popularity of which decks are played.

Next time we’ll have tier rankings, so check again when we get more data from the next ladder.

How it works

Dawnspiders is one of Swim’s  signature decks and one of the two decks he believes will be optimized for climbing – along with the Great White Sharks.

Enable Dawnspeakers 1 | 1 focuses on using Elise to produce spiders and if an ally dies during a tour, these spiders are constantly +1 | Multiply by 1.

Combine this with cards like Shadow Isles victim mechanics and Cursed Keeper and end processors like Rhasa to get an incredibly powerful deck from the beginning of Meta.

Great White Sharks

Great White Sharks import ID :

How it works

Do you like playing super aggro? Great White Sharks are the best deck for you. The deck can quickly create a snowball and have the ability to draw a staggering amount of cards to continue.

If you have a memorial and see mulligan for two mana cards.

Avoid playing anything on Tour 1 because you want to keep your meaning for a 3-card combination in Round 3. By doing this you can set a big turn to level Lucian and play a very discounted Remembrance.

When you’re attacking, make sure you’ve placed Lucian on the right side of your troops to level up during the war. If all goes well, you’ll make a triumphant finish with Hecarim.

Jinx + Draven Discard Aggro

Jinx + Draven Discard Aggro Import ID:

How it works

You have another Aggro option with Shadow Isles and Demacia, Discard Aggro.

This deck is incredibly fast because it burns your opponent explosively. This quickly makes climbing very good in the ranking.

Note that this style of play is not for heart weakness, as you will have to try to play fast and throw in the name of facial damage while playing board scans like the Avalanche and Withering Wail.

After the Jinx ascends, he will lead you to victory, as in the Summoner Valley.

Fiora Barrier

Fiora Barrier Deck Import ID:

How It Works

You knew there was supposed to be a Fiora + Shen deck there, didn’t you? Here you can create a unique and fun combination to kill your opponent if you play your cards correctly.

Instead of trying to drop your opponent’s Nexus HP, you’ll try to create a one-time look with A Fiora’s 4-kill winning condition or a massive Greenglade Caretaker that you’ve trained with barriers.

In the middle of the game, you should know which of the two options is your best bet. If it’s a Greenglade Caretaker, use Stand United to replace your attacking Greenglade Caretaker with an unobstructed unit for a 15+ batting killer. If Fiora, make sure you maximize single warfare and judgment.

Vlad + Braum

Vlad + Braum Deck Import ID :

How it works

This is a difficult deck that uses battle tricks to get the appropriate fighting results in the middle game.

Play the early game passively until you have your most valuable fighting tricks like Take Heart for a big turnaround.

Don’t underestimate crimson disciple, because it can usually cause 8+ damage on its own and if you need to punch a little more, Scarmother Vrynna can usually come into play as a final processor.

Ultimate Control

Ultimate Control Deck Import ID:

How it works

Your eyes aren’t cheating on you, this deck doesn’t use a champion! This almost makes it cheap enough to qualify as a budget deck, but it is as powerful as we decided to keep it here.

It’s one of the toughest decks we’ve recommended, but it could be one of the most rewarding ones. The basic strategy is to stop the game with your cheap early gaming units and look at adjusting AoE opportunities (Avalanche, Withering Wail and The Ruination ).

Be careful not to play too greedy and make sure you’re protecting your Nexus health long enough to get into the game late. When you get there, use Sunderer and Commender Ledros as your finishes.

Runeterra Budget-Friendly Decks

In a game where card acquisition is limited over time, these decks best pay off your money. They are made from prologous tasks and cards that you pack from the store and receive early.

Elites + Zed

Elites Zed Deck

Elites Zed Deck Import ID:

How it works

The elites begin as one of the strongest tribal decks (although not the strongest) and this deck is about to take advantage of them.

Cards like Vanguard Bannerman and Battlesmith will allow you to create a large board if they can’t answer your opponent and snowball quickly.

You can also quickly attack you in quick attack 3 to two 4 | By giving 3, Inspiring Mentor + Zed runs the combination and gives you another angle to beat your opponent.

SI + FR Control

SI + FR CONTROL Deck Import ID:

How it works

It can be difficult to make a good deck of control in the budget, but it does business! It was built to slow down the game.

Play reactively to maximize your AoE swap and eliminate your opponent’s threats with single-goal damage effects.

Since you will have Last Breath units, you will often have turns to destroy the enemy board with Avalanche and Withering Wail while protecting yourself.

Cards like Cursed Keeper will help prepare the ground for a big late game finish at Tryndamere.

Jinx + Zed Aggro

Jinx + Zed Aggro Deck Import ID:

How it works

This deck is built around two of the most aggressive mechanics in LoR, Elusive and Quick Attack. Using these keywords, you can create boards that are almost impossible to prevent if your opponent is not prepared.

Cards like Inspiring Mentor buff make them even more difficult by strengthening your units with these two effects. If you can nail the stunning opener of Inspiring Mentor + Zed, two in 3 with Quick Attack 4 | You’ll have three of you.

If the game goes on, you can use The Jinx’s firepower to close the match.

Midrange Large Dudes

Midrange Large Dudes Deck Import ID:

How it works

This mid-tier deck uses Challenger units such as Fleetfeather tracker and Laurent Protege to move you to the game late.

Once you get there, you’ll be able to activate your great friends in Garen and Tryndamere as your finish. Combine them with Judgment for a large release.

If you’re an Elnuk enthusiast, this deck also includes a lot of Bull Elnuks + Elnuks Associations to stamp your enemies on your great friends.

SI + NX Spiders Deck

SI + NX Spiders Deck Import ID:

How it works

This deck is built around spider cards provided by Noxus and Shadow Isles.

Try to dial Elise as fast as possible with cards like cheap spiders and Crawling Sensation.

From there, you can constantly push the damage with the enthusiasts of Frenzied Skitterer and Arachnoid Host until you finish the game with a finisher like Captan Farron.

The deck also includes an aggressive package with cards such as Cursed Keeper + Ravenous Butcher from shadow isles.

Jinx + Darius Deck

Jinx + Darius Deck Import ID:

How it works

If you want to play fast and win, but you can’t afford the Jinx + Draven Discard Aggro deck we mentioned earlier, consider moving forward with Draven’s brother instead.

This version uses aggressive early gaming cards such as Legball Rearguard and Sump Dredger, an advantage you can close with a leveled Jinx or Darius.

The amont of burn provided by PZ + NX is easy to reach the threshold of 10hp for Darius to level up.

If you don’t do the Jinx or Darius business, you have Mystic Shots and Mights to be supplemented.
